The HOPE Community Center daytime activities are closed due to Covid-19. As we consider the precautions needed to reopen, we are being careful moving forward with the decision. The Board of Directors and the support of The Clermont County Mental Health and Recovery Board is directing our actions.
The mental and physical health of our clients directs all our actions. We will not risk the health our our members as they resume daily activities on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
The return of peer lead mental health classes, art classes in conjunction with the University of Cincinnati-Clermont Campus, and group classes with Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health may take some time to begin again. Ensuring the strict sanitizing of surfaces, social distancing and wearing of masks are part of our return to daily social support.
Evening sober support meetings have resumed. All meetings must follow strict social distancing and sanitizing before and after every meeting.
We know this time is hard for all those that attend our center and we hope to follow Gov. DeWine's plan to slowly reopen peer operated organizations.
